Chapter 1
~1 min read
Every morning, Coco smiled at the sun. "Good morning, Sun," said Coco. The sun smiled back and made Coco shine bright. Coco floated slowly over the trees. He saw a little bird sitting quietly on a branch. "Why are you sad?" asked Coco. "I am tired," said the bird. So Coco moved gently in front of the sun and gave the bird some cool shade. "Thank you," chirped the bird. "Now I feel happy." Coco smiled. Then Coco floated over a little flower. The flower's head was bent down. "I am thirsty," whispered the flower. Coco gave the flower tiny drops of soft rain. Drip, drop. Drip, drop. The flower lifted her head and smiled. "Thank you, Coco," said the flower. Coco felt warm inside. That night, Coco floated near the moon. The moon looked sleepy. "Do you need a friend?" asked Coco. "Yes," said the moon softly. So Coco stayed beside the moon and helped light the quiet sky. Down below, a little child looked out the window and smiled. "Mama, look," said the child. "The cloud is smiling." Coco smiled even bigger. And as the stars twinkled, Coco whispered, "Good night, little one. May your dreams be soft and sweet." Then Coco closed his eyes and slept peacefully in the sky.
