Refund Policy

1. Digital Products

All products sold on Chimatbooks are digital goods (PDF ebooks). Due to the nature of digital products — which cannot be “returned” — all sales are generally final. Once a PDF has been downloaded, we cannot revoke access to the file.

2. When We Issue Refunds

We will issue a full refund in the following circumstances:

  • Duplicate purchase. If you accidentally purchased the same book twice, we will refund the duplicate charge.
  • Technical issue. If you are unable to download the PDF due to a verified technical problem on our end, and we cannot resolve it within 48 hours.
  • Fraudulent charge. If your account or payment method was used without your authorization.
  • Misrepresentation. If the book description or preview content materially misrepresents the actual product.

3. When Refunds Are Not Granted

  • Change of mind. We do not offer refunds simply because you no longer want the book.
  • Did not read description. We provide a free Chapter 1 preview for every book. Please read the preview and description before purchasing.
  • Accidental purchase. By clicking the purchase button, you confirm you intend to buy. Please review your cart before completing payment.
  • Format preference. All books are delivered as PDF files. We do not offer EPUB, MOBI, or other formats.

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email us at support@chimatbooks.com with the following information:

  • The email address associated with your account
  • The title of the book you purchased
  • The reason for your refund request
  • Any relevant screenshots or error messages

We aim to respond to all refund requests within 2 business days. Approved refunds will be processed through Stripe and typically appear in your account within 5–10 business days.

5. Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback with your bank or credit card provider without first contacting us, we reserve the right to terminate your account and revoke access to all purchased content. Please contact us first — we are happy to work with you.
